Contest!

On May 30th we had a send-off show to practice and show family, friends, and the community our contest pieces as well as a few other favorites. Thank you to everyone who came to that! your support of all of us is so much appreciated!

On June 9-11 2017 we went to Area 4 contest in Bloomington, Illinois. We performed as the mic testers for the competition. We got the judges impact and scores for our 2 songs and we will use that information to make our songs better for competing next year. Contest was not just all serious though. Going to contest also served as a very good retreat, all the ladies in the chorus were able to bond and have a great weekend together. The weekends theme was Under the Big Top, and we really all had a great time!

Christmas 2016

This time of year sure does get crazy and busy. We sure have been busy this Christmas season. We have had many Christmas sing outs this year in a variety of locations. We also celebrated recently with our wonderful Christmas party, it was great to just get together, have a wonderful meal, and enjoy each others and our guests company for a snowy evening where there were definitely plenty of laughs. We want to thank you all for your support this year, by attending our sing outs, or buying cream puffs and for being great audiences. WRH Chorus would also like to wish you all a very merry and blessed Christmas this year!

We are some Cool "Chicks!"

We sure have some talented and creative ladies within our group, and I mean more than just being able to sing. If you have seen us around lately which we had a busy October so it is very possible that you have. You may have noticed that we have been sporting chicken hats. Not only are these hats cute and when we are outside keep our heads warm but they were thought up when we came up with some great new words for a melody we already knew. The song "That's What Hens are for" is a new fun song we like to sing that will make you laugh at our silly lyrics.

Another Successful Year at the Shawano County Fair!

August 31- September 5 2016 The Wolf River Harmony ladies worked hard in their cream puff stand once again at the Shawano County Fair. We served a little over 3,000 homemade Wisconsin cream cream puff that are so delicious. We have many people state that that is what they come to the fair for. We build our great teamwork skills during this time to make sure all the duties that go along with this task are taken care of. We look forward to serving more cream puffs next fair, so make sure you visit us at the fair next August 30th- September 4th 2017!

Open House Success!

Women of all ages from the Wolf River area came together
to find their voices at our "Find Your Voice! Open House".

With the help of our Director, Nathan Falk and the efforts of the
ladies of Wolf River Harmony, week one has proven to be
a great success!  By the time the night was complete, our
guests had successfully learned two new songs, one tag
and produced a sound that would impress any contest judge!
Beyond the musical achievements of the evening, we all
were able to experience the beauty that every a cappella group
knows and enjoys...  and that is the bond of joy and friendship
which this craft of barbershop harmony creates.  What an honor
it is to sing with each and every woman pictured here!

There are still three weeks remaining of our
"Find Your Voice! Open House"!
As we look forward to seeing each of our remarkable
guests in the following weeks, we also want to invite even
more ladies to come, join us in song, harmony and
sisterhood as we all come together to find our voice!
